It’s easy to get discouraged. That’s what Satan wants. And he knows just where to get us. Sometimes he gets in the middle of our circumstances, and he tries to convince us we are powerless to change them. Sometimes he reminds us of past experiences or choices and tries to convince us that those experiences make us tainted or damaged. He tries to shame us. But this is the thing: Christ didn’t die for us to be powerless or shamed. Christ died for us so that in HIM we would have power. Christ died so that in HIM we can declare our heritage as daughters of the King. So while Satan may use his tactics to “steal, kill, and destroy”, Christ came so that we “might have life and have it to the full”. (John 10:10) Too bad, Satan. You Lose.
